I've found a fall foliage web site I like a lot.

It's by a husband and wife team who have spent some 30 years traveling the New England area, searching for the best in fall foliage viewings,
Their website is loaded with great photos -- some of which you can legally download -- to help you select areas you most want to visit.
They cover trails to avoid -- as not worth the drive -- as well as "Must Sees", where they do a review of a "not to be missed" trail.
They also include tips and reviews and "must see" places of interest and attractions to visit while you are in the area.
Where possible and appropriate they give campground and RV parking information. Although I haven't seen specific information to driving the mountain trails in an RV, where they mention a "white knuckle" drive, that may suggest that it's time to rent a car or take a tour for that particular trail.
