I just discovered this very interesting websiteDART, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit system, sold some of their retired busses today via a live Internet auction. You can watch auctions live at this website, and even bid on line if you have signed up by the deadline.
The auction is over for today, but if you go to the website now, you may still be able to see the list of busses they had for auction, and the prices they went for.
And, of course, you can check for future auctions.
Today, they had a lot of 1991 MCI busses, some GMC busses, and even some red Trolley cars!
